Damajagua Falls + Zipline

If you're vacationing in Puerto Plata or the surrounding area, be sure to visit Damajagua Falls - A natural water park that will take your breath away! It is one of the most impressive attractions on the Dominican Republic's north coast. A few years ago, a zipline was also launched in the riverbed, giving you the opportunity to combine the two activities: Damajagua Falls + Zipline.

The place where these attractions are located is already extremely charming in itself: in the Northern Mountains, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. To reach the upper reaches of the river, you have to travel about half-hour tour leading uphill through an exotic forest. ZIPLINE

In the zipline option, after reaching the upper part of the canyon, we assume the following climbing harness and helmet and we begin fun on the ropes. Regardless of swimming skills, each participant gets a helmet and life jacket, Which allows weaker swimmers to free drifting. It is only important that don't be afraid of water, as your head is sure to get wet while sliding or jumping. A few short slides are not to be missed, while the jumps are completely optional.

At the moment, there is no convenient path or other option available to reach Damajagua Falls without entering the riverbed. However, this will be possible in the future with the planned expansion of the rope park.
