Tour Program:

• Early departure from Puerto Plata / Sosua / Cabarete (around 5am);
• Breakfast en route;
• Arrive at Samana Marina between 9 and 10 am;
• cruise on the Gulf of Samana large motorboat or double-hulled catamaran (about 5 hours total)
• visit to Los Haitises National Park - We will circumnavigate the southern shores of the Gulf of Samana, where it grows a tropical forest interspersed with limestone rocks and caves;
• rocky outcrops - mogotes They also heap up from the waters of the Gulf of Samana, creating a phenomenal landscape. Some of the caves are made available to the public. They allow you to admire the extraordinary karst formations inside them and see the ritualistic Taino Indian paintings. We will disembark to explore the limestone interiors !
• On the way we will also pass mangrove coasts;
• The visible fauna of Haitises National Park consists mainly of birds: gulls, terns, frigate birds, cormorants and pelicans;
• Returning from Los Haitises we will stop at the famous Bacardi Island. One of the commercials for this world-famous rum brand was filmed there;
• will be served dinner (included in the price along with a drink);
• The rest of your free time can be spent on Beaching under palm trees, Where exotic sights beckon photo shoots, and the calm azure water makes it possible to safe bathing; We will spend about 2 hours on the island
• At the end of the cruise, we will return to the bus and drive towards the Los Cocos waterfall; in order to admire it, we will take a route of about 20 minutes through the palm-cocoa-banana groves placed at the entrance and rainforest; Under the waterfall a small lake is formed, in which you can bathe 🙂
• We will arrive back in Puerto Plata and surrounding areas around 8 pm
